This site is dedicated to applications of
Daubert and its progeny to the law, science & economics of the
expert testimony that is proffered in commercial litigation.
It was founded in 1999 as an outgrowth of the Daubert motion
practice of Stephen Mahle. Steve is a commercial litigator with
an economics Ph.D. who concentrates his practice in lawyering
scientific and damages expert testimony on a consulting basis
for law firms that are litigating substantial commercial matters
that have expert testimony issues.
This practice concentrates on
the evaluation, challenge and exclusion, (or proffer and admission)
of scientific and expert testimony under Daubert v. Merrell Dow
and the other standards for admissibility of expert testimony.
Steve's Daubert clients have ranged from the smallest law firms
in Florida to the largest in the country, and this background has focused his practice exclusively on partnering with law firms
to help them deliver to their corporate and insurance company
clients a superior and more cost-effective legal product. |
